How Much Does Body Sugaring Cost?
When people hear about the magic of body sugaring, their first thought is usually how they can’t wait to try it out. But then their second thought is a bit more practical: how much is body sugaring? Is it worth it in the long run over an alternative like shaving?
This is a question without a single answer, because many factors can move the price up or down. If you’re thinking about stopping in for a sweet sugar session, here are some guidelines and useful information to help you plan your budget. We got your back!
What Affects Body Sugaring Cost?
Like many salon services, body sugaring prices can be higher or lower depending on factors that are as unique as you. Just like a full makeover costs more than a basic maintenance haircut, sugaring is influenced by things like:
- The area being treated
- The frequency of treatment (i.e., the amount of time since your last visit)
- The salon you’re at
- The products being used
- The experience of the technician
- Sales, discounts, or service bundles
Even with all that in mind, we have a baseline price guide that you can rely on for most instances.
Body Sugaring Price List
We can’t speak for other salons, but for us, the biggest factor in how much your sugaring costs is the area of your body you’re focusing on. A full face sugar, for example, is $55 and covers the whole thing – but one area, like between the brows, is only $25. Underarms are $25 for the pair, but full arms are $50, and legs, being large and full of hair, are $110.
If you’re a man (or, your man is) feeling furry across the chest, the full chest and stomach is $80. Same goes for the back, neck, and shoulders. Already you can see the wide range of prices, which mostly depends on the thickness of hair and the difficulty and time of removing it all.
Our most popular service is the Mademoiselle Brazilian, which makes things nice and simple by removing all the hair down there: front, back, and between. The first visit is $80, but maintenance visits (that is, when you return within 5 weeks to get another) are only $65. Over the course of a year, you’ll save more than $150, which is basically like getting two Brazilians for free…just for keeping on schedule!
We also know that you don’t want to pick and choose between areas of your body – it’s best to get as much as you can done at the same time. So, we do have ensemble packages that give discounts on bundled services, and packages where you can save on buying multiple appointments in advance.
